Location: Warner and Dobson roads in Chandler

Description: The Wayne, a $60 million single-family rental development is being built by Scottsdale-based Porter Kyle, a multifamily builder and developer. The project will include 100 units and is Porter Kyle’s second project in Chandler. The project will have units ranging from one to three bedrooms and each will have two-car garages and private backyards. Community amenities will include a pool, gym, office and coworking space, an outdoor kitchen, dog park and community trail system.

History: Porter Kyle closed on the land in February for $4.2 million, according to real estate database Vizzda. The Chandler City Council approved a rezoning for the site to allow the development in 2023. The site had previously included a single-family home and dog rescue facility that were demolished as part of the redevelopment, according to Chandler documents. Construction officially began on the site in March.

When will work be done? Construction is expected to take 20 months, with the first units expected to complete in spring of 2026.
